Local Look at Meals on Wheels Grant

Thanks to the Walmart Foundation Impact Grant Program, one of our Meals On Wheels programs was able to purchase and replace items that they desperately needed in order to continue providing meals to homebound seniors. South Coast Seniors, Inc. in Point Arena, CA was able to replace both their old stove and cutting table with the funds and could not be more delighted. The Walmart Foundation has helped to truly make an impact in their local community.

We received a grant through the Impact Grant Program, and are so grateful for it! We recently moved into a new building, which will allow us to provide food to more than twice as many people. It's been wonderful to have a lot of community support for our program which provides great nutrition to people, who might not have a strong support system, but who are living with illness in our community.
