I am Nancy Tarr, Director of Special Events at Operation Homefront. I organize events for service members and military families across the country in partnership with our generous donors, including Walmart. Events I work on are the Military Child and Military Motherhood Award programs, Military Spouse Evening events, care packages events and other special programs throughout the year.
In my spare time, I love to cook, explore the outdoors, or pick up my guitar and sing and write songs with my friends and family. Originally from Cooperstown, NY, I have lived in Los Angeles, Detroit, New York City and now Washington, D.C. Working at Operation Homefront gives me the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much of themselves.
