A little bit about me-I have had the privilege of working in the Walmart Foundation for 10 years now. We have a wonderful team of caring and committed associates that work each and every day to help our communities in ways that I would have never dreamed possible before I joined Walmart.
No two days are the same here, let alone years. And this year brings a new opportunity that I am so excited about! I will be able to share with you, through a blog, a personal account of the impact of our holiday giving. I hope to be able to paint a picture of our support that will help you see through my eyes, the impact we will have in our communities this holiday season. We have partnered with several wonderful non-profit organizations that are doing important work in our local communities-it will be so great to be able share stories of their support and our partnership with you.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy taking pictures, writing poetry and being still. Give me a cold, rainy day to bake bread, make stew and watch an old movie and I’ll ask for nothing more! My family is my strength, and over the years, both my friends and family have played a significant role in sustaining both my passion and my heart.
